Identity evidence predates the 2x Void signal and needs a current-patch recheck.

What the source confirms
The saved official experience thumbnail visibly names Ninja Star and labels it Rare. That supports identity and rarity; it does not prove current strength.
Role hypothesis to test
Compare its coverage against your current ranged slot during a real run.
Current patch status
Unranked for 2x Void. A comparable current-patch run is required before publishing an S–D placement or “best weapon” claim.
What remains unknown
Projectile behavior and upgrade curve need in-game verification.
Run a controlled comparison: keep the rest of your loadout stable, change this slot, and record what ends the run. That result is more useful than a copied tier label with no patch or source.
